East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. build disaster post on Jatinegara Barat, Kampung Pulo, Kampung Melayu Urban Village, Jatinegara to anticipate the coming flood.

"We prepare 17 personnel and disaster post in Kampung Pulo. With this preparation, we are ready to evacuate residents who are affected by flood," stated Gatot Sulaiman, Head Section of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept.'s Fire Control and Rescue, Monday (2/5).

His side prepared 30 rubber boats for evacuation if needed. Previously, his side has deployed seven boats on the inundated location in Kampung Melayu, Cililitan, Tanjung Sanyang Cawang and Gang Arus Cawang.

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana mentioned, his side will optimize flood and inundation handling in his area.

"We will assist flood victim optimally," he added.
